If the IBC doesn’t update automatically, or the Update button doesn’t respond, these are some possible scenarios.
１. The update file is waiting to be executed in the background.
Please check whether there is a Shield icon on your toolbar.

2. Blocked by antivirus software.
Please click Learn more > Execute to complete update.

3.  Obsolete operating systems.
Since Microsoft and Google no longer support systems prior to Windows XP. Please update your computer to Windows 7 to enjoy a better user experience.

After logging in IBC, if some/all of your course materials look grayish and you can’t click them, there may be internet connection errors. You’ll see red light and Offline on the top right corner.

You will automatically switch to offline browser.

Please check the internet connection. (You should see green light on the top right corner)

When installing IBC, if the message “ibcD not activated” shows up.
Please follow the steps below：
1. Close IBC, if the following message shows up, please download and install FrameWork4.0 and re-open IBC.

2. Close IBC,  if the following message shows up, please click download and install. Re-open IBC after the installation is complete.

3. If neither of the above applies, IBC may be blocked by your antivirus software. Please follow the instructions to change your security settings. (click here)

When installing or opening IBC, if you are blocked by your antivirus software, please add the C:\Program Files(x86)\IBC file to the exclusion list, and re-download/re-install IBC.
